MultiBiz Ledger
Refund Policy
Effective Date: August 14, 2026 · Last Updated: August 14, 2026
1. Our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We want customers to have an opportunity to determine whether a paid MultiBiz Ledger plan works for their business.
A customer purchasing a new paid MultiBiz Ledger subscription may request a refund of the initial subscription payment within 30 calendar days of the initial paid transaction, subject to this Refund Policy.
2. What the Guarantee Covers
The 30-day guarantee applies to the first qualifying payment for a new paid subscription.
If a free trial converts into a paid subscription, the 30-day period begins on the date the first paid charge is successfully processed.
Free plans do not qualify for refunds because no subscription payment is collected.
3. Subscription Renewals
Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable after they are processed unless:
- applicable law requires otherwise;
- the charge resulted from a verified billing error;
- a duplicate charge occurred; or
- MultiBiz Ledger or its Merchant of Record determines that a refund is otherwise appropriate.
Customers are responsible for canceling before the next renewal date if they do not wish to continue the subscription.
4. Cancellation Is Different From a Refund
Canceling a subscription prevents future renewal charges.
Cancellation alone does not automatically refund a previously processed payment.
A refund must separately qualify under this Refund Policy.
5. Annual Subscriptions
The same 30-day new-subscription guarantee applies to an initial annual-plan purchase.
After the guarantee period expires, unused months of an annual subscription are generally not refundable unless required by law or expressly approved.
6. Upgrades and Downgrades
Subscription upgrades and downgrades may result in prorated charges, credits, or changes in plan access depending on the subscription configuration and billing provider.
Creem currently supports subscription-management and proration functionality for subscription changes.
Any refund associated with an upgrade or downgrade will be handled in accordance with the transaction configuration, this Refund Policy, and applicable law.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a qualifying refund:
Contact support@multibizledger.com and provide the email address associated with your account and enough transaction information for us to locate the payment.
Where available, you may also use the customer portal provided by our billing provider.
Do not send complete credit-card numbers or online-banking passwords to MultiBiz Ledger support.
8. Refund Processing
Paid MultiBiz Ledger purchases may be processed through Creem as Merchant of Record.
When applicable, approved refunds will therefore be issued through Creem or the payment provider that processed the original transaction.
Creem's current documentation permits Merchant-of-Record sellers to process refunds through its platform.
Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method.
The time required for the credit to appear is controlled partly by the payment network, financial institution, and payment provider.
10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a payment has already been disputed or charged back through your bank or card issuer, the transaction may need to be handled through the applicable payment provider's formal dispute process.
This does not limit rights provided to you under applicable law.
11. Effect of a Refund
When a full subscription payment is refunded, paid-plan access may be terminated or downgraded to an available free plan.
Before requesting a refund or closing an account, users should export financial records they are required to retain.
Refunding a subscription does not automatically delete your MultiBiz Ledger account or data unless you separately request account deletion.
12. Exceptions Required by Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits refund, cancellation, cooling-off, or consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Where applicable law gives you greater rights than this policy, applicable law controls.
